When Madz first asked me if I wanted to come under her wing of fitness regimes, I was a little hesitant. Now, having lost 22 pounds and counting, I can honestly say it was the best decision I ever made. Madz is literally helping me change my life. And this time, I actually know my trainer! I couldn’t ask for a better coach and motivator. Madz is always there when we need her and she constantly checks in on us to see if we’re doing okay. And even better, she holds us accountable! I honestly don’t know how out of shape I would still be if it weren’t for Madz.

Over the past two years I have wanted to work on my health and well-being. I had gained over 50 pounds and wasn't loving myself, how I felt or how I looked. During this time I was working 2 jobs and commuting 3 hours a days for work so I found it difficult to incorporate health habits into my days. When the pandemic hit and I started working from home in April, I finally had enough free time to build a healthy lifestyle. 


I had been following Madz's journey for some time and when she mentioned an upcoming fitness challenge I knew this is what I needed to get started. Come to find out Madz was the perfect coach for me! She always made me feel safe speaking about my struggles with weight and fitness along with taking the time to understand me to customize my journey. 


In the beginning, we set realistic goals: eat my protein, move for 30 minutes and increase my water intake. We would have weekly phone calls to check in on my progress and go over my wins and areas of improvement. As the weeks went on Madz really helped personalize the program to my needs. I was having a hard time eating all my food and was getting full faster. She coached me on eating my protein first then veggies then carbs if i was still hungry while explaining the importance of this process. At one point in my journey my weight seemed to plateau, we changed up my workouts and added a few extra items. Through this change I was able to start seeing progress again. 


Since beginning this journey with Madz 11 weeks ago I have lost over 20lbs, bought myself a pair of booty shorts and have more energy than ever. There is still progress to be made, but this journey has given me more confidence and helped me build the healthy habits I need when I get back to the office. I couldn't have done it without Madz's coaching and motivation and I can't wait to continue this journey with her guidance.

Madz has been an amazing coach from day one, she really puts her heart and soul into her work. She treats your body and mind as if it were her own and genuinely wants you to succeed in not only your fitness but your life goals.


She has helped me put systems that I am comfortable with into my daily life to help me develop better eating habits as well as crush my fitness goals.


She is amazing for the fact that she can adapt her knowledge to your life no matter what your work schedule is or how hectic your life is, she will help you develop daily goals and habits to crush your goals and become a better you.

Working with Madz has been life-changing! I’ve been working with her consistently for the past few months. She’s been a constant support in my health and fitness journey. I’ve worked with personal trainers before but she’s definitely was the best. She’s very well rounded with her experience in all aspects of health and wellness. She provided me with the confidence I needed to feel motivated about changing oneself to be want to be healthier.


She helped coach me on proper nutrition and exercise and was there whenever I needed her. Her experience in healthy eating and proper exercise was extremely comforting, and she knew exactly how to help me navigate pitfalls and challenges and provided constant support whenever I needed it. 


Along with being extremely knowledgeable, Madz has also helped me tremendously with overcoming pain with my physical disabilities too. I grew up with cerebral palsy that affected my left arm and left leg. Madz rose to the occasion and helped me overcome my disabilities, depression, and gave me the daily boost of confidence I really needed in my life to feel good about myself again and to not give up.

My experience with Madz as a fitness coach has been surprising. She is not only an amazing coach, but she really made me achieve the goal and be persistent (which is the surprising part).


I have to confess that at the beginning I did it because I felt I needed to move my body under the lockdown circumstances but wasn't sure if I could achieve my fitness goal. I can say that the reason I'm getting there is because of the energy that she transmits.


She makes you feel that everything is simple and possible and it doesn't have to happen now. She also makes you feel comfortable with the diets and your own rhythm and not feeling overwhelmed with restrictions, but always giving you options and encouraging you to believe you can do more.


The most important thing for me is also that she is an example herself of that we can achieve whatever goals we set ourselves.

Working with MuscleMadz has been a good learning experience for me personally. As an obese person it is hard to come by a trainer that will take me on and take the time to learn about me. 


MuscleMadz took the time to understand me and how I approached my eating and working out. I may be obese but I do like activity such as hiking, disc golf, etc. After a terrible fall that rendered me useless for almost two months. 


MuscleMadz took the time to understand that my behavior towards foods was more than just cravings. It's behavioral. She came up with my plan and I am happy to say I am sticking to it. Not easy at first, but I stuck to it and it's been worth it. I am a project in the works. 

With MuscleMadz I will reach my goal of hiking and playing disc golf again. Why?  Because she cares about her clients. She works hard for her clients. And nowadays, that's gold.

Working with Madz has been extremely helpful for my fitness goals. After losing 100lbs it was hard for me to see the new body I had. I only saw the old me. After working with Madz I can proudly say I am able to embrace who I am. I look in the mirror with confidence, instead of dreading seeing myself.

Let’s be honest, fitness isn’t all of ours "thing". Do you know who’s "thing" it is? MuscleMadz! She has helped me so much in such a short amount of time. I sleep better, eat better and am no longer drinking massive amounts of soda a day, this is all thanks to my coach! 


From our first phone call she encouraged me and helped me climb what felt like an uphill battle. What I learned is that it’s about doing the right things one day at a time.


My confidence is way up, and my stress release in eating bad foods has become way more under control. If you think fitness is hard and proper nutrition is even harder, than you need to give MuscleMadz a go.

I really like working with Madz! She is very punctual for all scheduled calls and video chats, and she is flexible if you ever need to make a schedule adjustment. She is patient and understanding, but also pushes you to do better.


Madz has been there for me during the rocky times, and has cheered me on after every victory no matter how big or small it is. She is a really great trainer, and I am both honored and excited to continue working with her!

I had always been scared of carbs and that was something I was vocal about but Madz made me realize that without a proper balanced diet including carbs my performance would always be lacking in intensity and power.


After changing up my diet and having gone to the gym with her for a couple of months I noticed some major changes. Even now with Covid and the distance between us she constantly checks up on me making sure I'm hitting my macros.


Something that I really appreciate about her is that my mental health is just as important as my physical health and will ask how I'm doing and how I'm feeling. She is a very hands on coach and won't hesitate to tell you what you're doing wrong or where you can approve.


I feel like as a marine, I have always had a motivation to stay physically fit but it wasn't until I was under her wing that I saw dramatic changes in my energy and my overall fitness. I would highly recommend her training and dietary advice for anybody.

Madz gets 6/5 stars from me for a few reasons.


Firstly, she deserves props for taking on my situation, which is unique. I came to Madz after making a concerted effort over the course of a month, working intensively with both a physical trainer and therapist in Aiken SC, to begin my path out of chronic pain. A few years back I developed chronic issues related to teaching myself the bass and breaking my ankle from jumping off high objects, and decided enough was enough, I need to make a change. I would’ve continued the work I was doing in Aiken, but I ended up moving to Lexington KY and needed to find a new trainer. My previous trainer Bill spoke with Madz to give her background of what work we had done, and then she had a consultation with me that made me feel like she understood my situation and was capable in designing a workout plan to help me continue my progress. I greatly appreciate her ability to understand my situation her willingness to take on a confusing situation, especially because she did it all through zoom! 


Which leads me to my second point: with the limited information she had, she designed a workout plan that consistently gives me an intense workout, without resulting in an excess of pain. After a month of working with her, I’ve seen significant muscle gains and a noticeable decrease in my everyday chronic pain. 


Finally she coached me through a live virtual workout session. I was super impressed. Somehow through zoom she was able to give me numerous cues on my form. This was huge for me and is why I can’t thank her enough. The reason I cant really work out by myself yet is because of chronically bad posture and a totally misguided sense of how I'm using my body. When I work out unguided, I end up hurting myself. So when I work out with a trainer, knowing that they are truly watching me, and coaching me when needed, means the world to me. It allows me to work out hard without fearing triggering days of unnecessary pain
